My research addresses family (child, sibling and parent) voices regarding symptoms, treatment toxicities, treatment decision-making and quality of life during treatment for serious illnesses, including end of life, and transforming this work into clinical care interventions. Further, my research addresses the child and parent voices regarding preferred clinician responses to their illness experiences and the clinician experience with symptoms
of fatigue and sleepiness and the parent voice regarding their definition of being a 'good parent' to their seriously ill child.
