Dr. Montgomery is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Montgomery has over a decade of clinical experience practicing in pediatric hematology, oncology, and cellular therapy settings where she was responsible for nursing and patient/family education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice. Her research interests include understanding the symptom experiences of children with advanced cancer using patient-reported outcomes, antecedents and consequences of poorly controlled symptoms, and symptom communication among child-caregiver dyads.
