Linda Abramovitz RN, MSN, BMTCN, FAAN is a clinical nurse specialist with over 30 years of experience in pediatric bone marrow transplantation and oncology. She is currently Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Nursing and faculty with UCSF Global Cancer Program. She received her BSN from the University of Rochester and MSN from the University of Pennsylvania.
Linda is actively involved in pediatric oncology and HSCT nursing as a clinical consultant, educator and researcher at a local, national and international level. Linda is co-chair of the International Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) Baseline Nursing Standards Special Interest Group, Vice Chair of SIOP North America Nursing Committee, and Chair of APHON’s Global Outreach Committee. Professional role development for both staff nurses and advanced practice nurses and the delivery of culturally competent care has been a focus of her work in LMIC and HIC. Linda has supported the development of educational programs in Vietnam, Tanzania, India, and Ethiopia. Linda currently serves on the executive board of Southeast Asia Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (SEAPHO) and holds an adjunct faculty position at the University of Texas, San Antonio School of Nursing
