Erika is a seasoned pediatric clinical pharmacist with a passion for enhancing patient care and safety. She holds a PGY1 pharmacy residency from the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, OH and further specialized with a PGY2 pediatric-focused pharmacy residency at UC Davis Children's Hospital in Sacramento, CA. Erika's career took her to San Francisco, where she assumed the role of pediatric clinical pharmacist for the cardiac stepdown and the general pediatrics team. Notably, she spearheaded the creation of the Transition of Care (TOC) program within the pharmacy department, demonstrating her commitment to optimizing transitions for pediatric patients.
Since October 2021, Erika has been an integral part of the team at CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) as the Buerger Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist for the Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) teams. Her extensive experience and dedication to pediatric pharmacy practice make her an invaluable asset in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients facing complex medical challenges.
